Vanguard Genetics aimed to refresh their logo with a professional look to enhance brand recognition and emphasize their values in the cannabis industry.
Logo Design, Product Mockups, Brand Guidelines
Vanguard Genetics’ existing logo featured a curly script font, drop shadows, and a white stroke with a shadow. While some elements aligned with the brand, they needed refinement to better represent a professional image.
We refined the script font to a more professional design with fewer curls. With the main typography updated, we introduced an icon to expand the brand's dynamic range. Given the small size of many cannabis products, a standalone icon is more recognizable than a full logotype with taglines.
Incorporating a DNA strand from the original design, symbolizing genetics, we created a strong, unique logomark for Vanguard Genetics.
